Our Academic Policy

1. Students are expected to lead simple life, wear khadi clothes and take vegetarian meals, must not smoke or drink alcoholic beverages.

2. Students must participate in community prayer and shramdam.

3. Ragging is strictly prohibited. If anyincident of ragging comes to the notice of the authority, the concerned students shall be given liberty o explain and if her e xplanation is not found satisfactory, the authority would expel her from the college.

4. Candidate after taking admission have to give an undertaking countersigned by her parents that she shall not indulge in any activity which amounts to ragging and if she found guilty she shall be punished as per the disciplinary rules.

5. Hostel and mess is compulsory for all students.

6. Fees shall be paid on the date notified by the principal’s office. After the said date, fees will be acceptable only within a period of one month’s with a late fee fine as notified.

7. Continued absence from the classes for over one month without any valid reason will make the students liable to become back for 6 months or more.

8. Minimum of 80% of attendance in theory and practical is necessary for appearing in University examination. However 100% clinical attendance is compulsory for course completion.

9. If the students discontinue the training period she will have to pay the entire course fee for the remaining period.

10. The students has to follow strictly the curriculum planned by the college.

11. Students will have to shift their rooms according to the availability of accommodation.

12. Students has to follow the hostel rules strictly. If they do not abide the rules they may be removed from the hostel.

13. Students must wear the uniform prescribed by the college for clinical and community posting.

14. Minimum of 50% marks is the internal assessment is compulsory for appearing for university examination.

15. Any change in the student’s permanent address or the mailing address must be conveyed to the Principal in writing.

16. Cell phone is prohibited in the clinical area and classroom.

17. Students nurses are to make a point of reading the notice board daily.

18. All students must attend study hours from 7:30pm to 9:30pm each evening except Saturdays and Sundays. Night duty students do not need to attend study hours.

19. Student are permitted to watch the television on Saturday and Sunday between 1pm to 9:30 pm.

20. Students are permitted to go for shopping, etc, with permission from designated authority. A Register is kept in the hostel and students must sign out before going and sign in upon returning.

21. A students will get special leave during the course of their training only if there is a genuine and valid reason. However the students must follow the MUHS rules related to their course which is available in www.muhs.ac.in
