Basic BSC

Admissions to First year Basic B. Sc Nursing course, candidates who have appeared for NEET with minimum 45% marks in PCB for open category & 40% for reserved category only for females.

Eligibility for B.Sc Nursing Course

1.Admission is open to female candidates only.
2.The candidate must be an Indian National.
3. A candidate must attain 17 years of age on or before 31st July, in the year of admission. The SSC or equivalent examination certificate clearly endorsing the date of birth only will constitute valid proof of the date of birth of the candidate.
4. The candidate should be medically fit to undergo the professional course. She will have to undergo a medical examination at Kasturba Hospital of Kasturba Health Society at the time of admission.
5. The candidate must have passed 12th standard examination under 10+2 system of Maharashtra State Higher Secondary Education board or an equivalent examination of any recognized Indian Board / University with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and all in one and same attempt.

a.General category candidates :

must secure a minimum of 45% marks together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually in the qualifying exam and with all in one and the same attempt.
b.Constitutional Reservation :
Candidates belonging to Scheduled castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Vimukta Jati (VJ), Nomadic Tribe (NT) and Other Backward Class (OBC), including Special Backward Class (SBC) should have obtained not less than 40% of total aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and English taken together in the qualifying Examination. She must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English all in one and the same attempt.

c.RESERVATION Constitutional :

25% seats are reserved for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/VJ/NT/OBC (including SBC) categories. The candidate claiming the reservation under any of these categories shall produce the following certificate at the time of verification : original caste certificate, caste validity certificate and a non-creamy layer certificate. No extra time will be given for the same.

Please Note:-

Constitutional reservation will not be considered unless duly signed and prepared caste certificate, caste validity certificate and a valid non-creamy layer certificate (where applicable), are produced at the time of admission / verification. Such candidates will be considered in general category as per their merit.
.It is the candidate’s responsibility to see that she possesses the required qualification for admission to B.Sc. Nursing course. In case any lacuna is found after admission and enrolment is denied by the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, to which the College is affiliated, the College shall not be responsible for any loss, direct or indirect to the students on this account.
.Higher secondary school certificate Examination (12 years course), or any other equivalent examination with (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) with minimum of 45% aggregate marks (PCB) and passed in English separately.
