Community Health Nursing Department:

The Community Health Nursing department of the College was established in the year 1997. The Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing programme began in 1997, Basic B.Sc. in 2008 and the P.G. programme began in 2011. Our department imparts regular health education to the people of the Rural and Urban areas.
The department was involved in training the students of College of Nursing in the outreach areas which was a Rural Primary Health Centre at Anji (Mothi) and urban area Ramnagar urban Health Centre, Wardha.
The department actively participates in the extension activities like National Health Programmes, Mobile Clinic, Home Visits, Visit to Anganwadi, Gram Panchayat, Sub-centre etc.
At present the department has qualified staffs who are fully involved in training students in Community Health Nursing and in promoting health and preventing illness.
